Our Current Project's
01
Classrooms & Buildings renovation
Due to heavy rain falls we received heavy damages on our classrooms, sleeping dorms and dinning hall. For these reasons we have closed our school doors for renovation work. All children of Tareto Maa & Naitawang Riverside Academy school have been temporarily send to trusted neighbouring school. That's why top our priority for the next 12 months is to get the damages renovated and open our school as soon as possible. For this we need 40.000€. To raise this money we need all the help we can get and we are grateful for all donations and effort made towards this project. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us realise this project.

Water drainage system
In the rainy season we get a lot of heavy rain falls and a lot of water accumulate in the school compound which leads to the damages of the buildings. To avoid water damages to the classrooms and buildings in the future, we plan to build a proper water drainage system and collect all the water in one place. This water will then be stored and reused in the dry season where water is scarce. To Install a proper drainage system cost 3.000.000 Kenyan shillings that's roughly 20.000€. That's a huge sum that we can't raise on our own. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us realise this project.. We are thankful for any kind of donation made towards this project.
Completed Project's
Step by Step we hope to better Tareto Maa and it's community through various ways and It's thanks to your support and contribution that we are able to make changes and give hope for a better future to our children and the community. Through the last 16 years we have been working close with the community to develop different projects for Tareto Maa and ensure a future for our children and the community. Thanks to your support we have able to completed many projects over the years. Below are some of the projects we have been able to completed so far.

Road project
With the help of donors from Austria. Tareto Maa was able to complete a long awaited project. Thanks to the new built road transportation to Tareto Maa is much easier and faster now. Even in the rainy season where the land is very muddy we can move from A to B with no issues. We are forever grateful to all donors that made this possible.

Drilling well
Clean water has always been a problem in Tareto Maa. Without the rain water the only water available was the dirty one from the river nearby. Thanks to donors from Austria we were able to build a drilling well. Now the children and the community can enjoy clean water and have enough water available all year round.

Electricity Installation
Tareto Maa is located in very rural area so electricity is very scarce there. But Thanks to your support and donations we were able to install solar power energy in our school. Dark nights are no longer a thing in Tareto Maa and our children can enjoy free activities, studying and also doing their homework under the lights. This also present new opportunities such as computer learning which is now offered at our school.

School Gate
To tighten security for the children as well for the school, we have build a school gate and a security guard post. Thanks to your donations and support our children can now feel and be more safer.
